Channel passage

Typical work for BC Maa ja Vesirakennus Oy Ltd is deepening canals, rivers and other water ways. Many sites, which are impossible for most other machines to get to, can be deepened and cleaned easily with our Watermaster. The vegetation is normally cleared first and then the bottom is deepened to the desired depth by backhoe work or by pumping.

Building boat passages

Building boat passages is done by a similar method to deepening a channel passage: with backhoe work the passage is cleared of vegetation, rocks or other trash and then it can be suction dredged. We can also build quays and boat marinas and drive wooden or metal sheet piles.
